Monito – based in Lausanne (Switzerland) – helps customers find the cheapest way to send money abroad. They wanted to increase the number of signups in the leadbox on their homepage. Eyetracking prediction software showed that the existing leadbox did not attract enough attention.

Hypothesis

 Making the leads box standout more – by making the design more contrasting – will increase the number of signups.

Results

The number of signups increased by 50%.

Learnings

This test shows the importance of drawing attention to your main content / call to action.
This can be done in many ways (like increasing size, adding visual cues or changing the position).
In this case just changing the lead box colors works fine.
