Nuface is a US company selling skin health products for women. Their analytics showed that many visitors where hesitant to buy. Hence they introduced free shipping over $75 dollar.

Hypothesis

 Introducing free shipping over $75 and displaying this in the header will increase the number of orders.

Results

Orders increased by 90% and average order size by 7%.

Learnings

As expected the free shipping offer increased the conversion (orders/visit). Whether this is really beneficial depends on the profit: will the increased margin be enough to pay for the additional shipping costs?
