Gyminee (currently named DailyBurn) is a diet and exercise tracking site. Tim Ferris (author of the Four Hour Workweek) is an investor in the company and published this test in 2009.

Learnings

The problem with redesigns is that it is difficult to exactly explain the lift. Possible explanations could be:

  • A single call to action in stead of two options
  • Changing the large and unclear icons to simple and familiar green tickboxes
  • A testimonial that builds trust and explains the benefits
