Vab Dwivedi – Director of the Digital Customer Experience Optimization team for Dell.com – tested the default sorting method on the dell category page.

The result was a 7% increase in conversion and a 15% increase in revenue/visit.

Tellingly the engagement with the sort method fell by 70% – before this change visitors would change the sort method from to lowest price (first) by them selves. Best result is
